Add your documents
The files the AI was meant to work from: a brief, a policy, a contract, a report. PDF, Word, text, Markdown, CSV and more. They’re read in your browser.
Upload your documents, paste what the AI wrote, and every sentence is checked against your files. What your documents back up comes with the passage that proves it. What they don’t is flagged, before it reaches a client, a report or a decision.
No prompts to write and nothing to set up.

An answer, a summary, an email draft, a whole transcript. From ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot or anything else.
A score, then every sentence marked supported, not in your documents, or contradicting them, each with the passage or the reason.
An AI checking an AI isn’t enough, so the model never gets the last word.
A sentence is only marked supported with a passage from your documents, and that passage is checked word for word against your files before you see it.
Every number, date, price, email and link in a supported sentence has to appear in its proof. Simple sums and differences are worked out by code, not by the model.
When it can’t prove a sentence, it says so. A flagged true sentence costs you a glance. A passed fabrication could cost you a client.

No, on purpose. It checks against your documents only, so a result means “your sources say this”, not “this is true somewhere”. If something is true but not in your documents, it’s flagged as not in your documents.
No. They’re read in your browser and sent with each check only so it can run, then discarded. Neither your documents nor the text you check is stored. See the Privacy Policy.
Yes, and it’s built to err on the safe side. A true sentence it can’t prove from your documents is flagged rather than passed. Results are an aid to your own review, not professional advice.

The Hallucination Checker compares AI-written text with the documents you provide. It does not check anything against outside sources and does not guarantee a result is correct; nothing here claims it does.
